With 15 buildings and more than 500,000 square feet of space, Discovery Place is home to some of the world's leading technology companies, including Electronic Arts (Canada), Kodak, Pacific Blue Cross and HSBC. Promising start-up companies also have made Discovery Place their place of business, including Protiva Biotherapeutics and Xenon Pharmaceuticals.

Construction has just been completed on the DiscoveryGreen Building, built on the last remaining site within Discovery Place. DiscoveryGreen is a 150,000 square foot LEED Gold Standard building. It is the city's most sustainable commercial building to date.
