Technology Enterprise Facility III
Completed in 2003, Technology Enterprise Facility III (TEF3) is the first LEED-certified research facility in Canada. Features such as dual-flush toilets and waterless urinals save more than 2.95 million litres of potable water annually. Low-flow fume hoods and an energy efficient mechanical system save more than 346,000 kg of CO2 emissions.
