Discovery Parks receives energy conservation award

Discovery Parks is pleased to announce that they have been selected as a recipient for a 2008 Power Smart Excellence Award in the category of Innovation in Sustainable Building Design. The Power Smart Excellence Awards showcase the best energy efficiency and conservation practices of BC Hydro customers.

As a Power Smart Excellence Award recipient, in the category of Innovation in Sustainable Building Design, Discovery Parks is proud to be honoured for our efforts in the field of building design, and in particular for the work we've done in this field that best demonstrates innovation in sustainable building processes, strategies and technologies with a goal of measurable electricity reduction and other non-energy benefits in new buildings. But even beyond building design, energy conservation is an important part of how we do business with our clients and each other.
